Tortured Pets Dumped In Village

The tortured bodies of two animals that are believed to be pets have been found in a Lancashire village.

Police in Buckshaw village have suggested that the two animals, which can not be completely identified as a result of their injuries, were tortured and set on fire, the Lancashire Telegraph has reported.

Local citizens with pets have been advised to be vigilant and police officers in the area have increased their patrols.

Sergeant Sonia Spencer of the Chorley Police expressed her concern that a resident is capable of inflicting these injuries.
